The rock band ALABAMA SHAKES earned their first #1 on the Billboard 200 chart with "Sound & Color" selling 96,000 copies. Their first full-length album, "Boys & Girls", peaked at #6 in 2013. It's the first independently-distributed #1 album since JASON ALDEAN'S "Old Boots New Dirt" last October. The only other new album in the Top 10 is "Love Story" from YELAWOLF, which sold 58,000 copies in 3rd place. He previously topped out at #27 with his last album, "Radioactive".
