“Furious 7” Has Made a Billion Dollars Faster Than Any Movie in History

 

"Furious 7" made history this weekend as the fastest movie EVER to hit $1 BILLION. It did it on Friday, just 17 days after it was released . . . the previous record was 19 days, which was done by three movies: "The Avengers", "Avatar", and "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2". It also added another $29.1 million and topped the box office for a third straight week. Overall, it's now made $294 million here and another $858 million overseas, giving it a worldwide total of nearly $1.2 billion. "Paul Blart 2" debuted in 2nd place with $24 million, and the cyberbullying horror flick "Unfriended" rounded out the Top 3 with $16 million. Here are the Top 10 movies:
