The "MTV Movie Awards" went down last night, and three movies won three awards each. "The Fault In Our Stars" won Movie of the Year . . . while Shailene Woodley won Best Female Performance, and she and Ansel Elgort won Best Kiss. Zac Efron won Best Shirtless Performance for "Neighbors". He and Dave Franco won Best Duo and Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne won Best WTF Moment. "The Maze Runner" was the other three-time winner. Dylan O'Brien won Best Hero and Best Breakthrough Performance, and he and Will Poulter won Best Fight.
In other results, Bradley Cooper won Best Male Performance for "American Sniper", Jennifer Lopez won Best Scared As [Crap] Performance for "The Boy Next Door" . . . Meryl Streep won Best Villain for "Into the Woods", and Channing Tatum won Best Comedic Performance for "22 Jump Street". (Check out the full winners' list here.)
As for the show itself, there really wasn't much in the way of chaos or surprises. AMY SCHUMER was funny, but there were times when it seemed like live hosting was a little too much for her. Her filmed skit to open the show was great, although it ended with her coming out onstage and totally botching a spot where she was supposed to kill Jimmy Kimmel with a bow and arrow.
Another filmed skit about women going to see "Fifty Shades of Grey" and "Magic Mike" in order to TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES was funny, too. Amy also made out with Amber Rose. Amy spent some time making fun of her size, both verbally, and by wearing tight outfits. But Rebel Wilson did her one better, by coming out onstage dressed like a Victoria's Secret angel. Jennifer Lopez got her award from the cast of "Magic Mike" . . . and she requested AND RECEIVED some booty-popping from Channing Tatum. Sadly, she refused to reciprocate.
Robert Downey Jr. got the Generation Award from the rest of the Avengers.
