Kendrick Lamar Scored His First #1 Album

 

 

KENDRICK LAMAR scored his first #1 album this week with 363,000 copies of "To Pimp a Butterfly". His last album was "good kid, m.A.A.d city", which debuted in 2nd place with 241,000 copies back in 2012. Two other albums debuted in the Top 10 this week. MODEST MOUSE was in 3rd place with 77,000 copies of "Strangers to Ourselves" . . . and MARINA AND THE DIAMONDS hit #8 with 46,000 copies of her new album "Froot".
